Master Trainer Program

The Master Trainer Program provides the learner with essential skills and knowledge to design, develop and deliver competency-based training program and assessments.

The program entirety is packed with theories, principles and hands-on application from beginning to end. The Master Trainer Program prepares the learner in designing the curriculum framework, learn the rudiments in writing the scope and sequence of the content, concurrently with its application using a variety of teaching strategies and methodologies.

Basic Certificate (Competency Unit 1-4)

CU1: Apply Adult Learning Principles and Code of Ethics Relating to Training

Apply Adult Learning Principles and Code of Ethics Relating to Training

16 Hours

This unit addresses the competencies required to apply adult learning principles and code of ethics relating to training, which includes interpreting the adult learning theories and principles; addressing the different learning styles and preferences; cultural differences, and ethical issues relating to training.

 

CU2: Prepare and Facilitate a Classroom Training

Prepare and Facilitate a Classroom Training

16 Hours

This unit addresses the competencies required to prepare and facilitate classroom training, which includes reviewing learner profiles and contextualizing a training program to meet their needs; preparing resources needed for an effective training program; creating and maintaining a conducive learning environment; facilitating learning through effective instructional skills and strategies; monitoring learner’s progress and adjusting the training program, and reviewing post-course evaluation.

 

CU3: Develop a Competency-Based Assessment

16 Hours

This unit addresses the competencies required to develop a competency-based assessment plan, developing competency-based assessment tools, and validating the assessment plan.

 

CU4: Conduct a Competency-Based Assessment

16 Hours

This unit addresses the competencies required to conduct aproficiency-based assessment, which includes preparing toconduct assessment, preparing candidates for assessment, and conducting an assessment.

 

Advanced Certificate (Competency Unit 1-7)

CU5: Design and Develop A Competency-Based Training Program

24 Hours
This unit addresses the competencies required to design and develop a competency-based facilitated training program,which includes defining the parameters of a training program, as well as designing, developing and evaluating a training program.

 

CU6: Design and Develop an On-The-Job Training Program

24 Hours
This unit addresses the competencies required for program developers, and helps learners develop the skills and knowledge necessary to define the parameters of an OJT training program, design and develop OJT training materials, and validate the OJT training program.

 

CU7: Prepare  and  Conduct  an On-The-Job   Training   Program

24 Hours
This unit addresses the competencies required for OJT trainers and assessors, and helps learners develop the skill and knowledge necessary to prepare for OJT, conduct OJT and review the effectiveness of an OJT Program.

 

Master Trainer Certificate (Competency Unit 1-8)

CU8: Design and Develop a Blended Learning Training Program (E-Learning)

40 Hours
Learners pick up knowledge about adult learning theories and principles before applying these principles in designing a short learning experience. They can actualize their design by bringing it to life through practices in class.

This competency unit is project-based. Participants will be required to design a competency-based training program using technology in integrating interactive activities in training delivery. This module will have a combination of face-to-face interaction and online training engagement with the trainer.
